About This Project
The Liliir Education Project seeks to promote and enhance literacy and education in war-torn South Sudan. The Project attempts to address the fundamental issues behind the vast educational injustice and inequality by building a secondary school and providing scholarships to disadvantaged students. The need for schools and quality education is as great as ever. Stuart Silk Architects is pleased to partner with Liliir to design a school for underprivileged students in this impoverished nation. Postponed for several years due to civil war in the region, the construction of this high school in the village of Alian is finally underway.
