Jamie is a Project Manager at Silk Cavassa Marchetti with previous experience in firms around the greater Seattle area designing buildings in higher education, science and technology, civic, and residential realms. She is a licensed architect in Washington state and excels in all aspects of design with a great eye for constructability and detail. She enjoys working with clients to interpret their needs and reveal the uniqueness of their site. She believes design enables us to see what already exists; at its best, good design reveals our natural and built environments and informs our perception of space.
Originally from Chicago and the Great Lakes Region, Jamie received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ball State University and her Master of Architecture at the University of Washington. During her graduate studies, she was a recipient of the Charles Winthrop Lea III award and was nominated to participate in a design studio with Pritzker Prize winner Glenn Murcutt.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys gardening, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog.
